St James’ Sunday School
- We LOVE sharing Jesus’ love with the children and growing with them as we have fun and learn together.
- We meet in term time during the 10.30 service using the school building next door after first worshiping, for a short time, with the rest of the church family.
- We have two teaching groups: 3-6yrs; 6-11yrs.
- We welcome little ones rising from three up to 11 – then they move on to d2b.
Parents are very welcome to come with their children to try us out. Contact Jenny Brooks (email: Jenny Brooks) for more information.
D2B
Dare to Believe (d2b) is for young people between 11 and 14 years (school years 7-9) and also meet during the 10.30 service in St James’ during term time.
For more photos see the SPSJ Photo pages.
ACCESS
ACCESS is a group for young people (yrs 10-13). We meet each week on Sunday evening to have fun and to see what the Bible says about life and living as a Christian. Our name comes from Romans 5:1-2 which says we can have access to God through faith in Jesus.
We meet on Sunday evenings (during term time) at 10 St Barnabas Close next to St Barnabas Church from 7:30-9:30. Check out the Autumn programme: Access_Autumn
The group is run by Andy (07590 617738 or email: HCYM) & Kirsty Clark with help from Dee Taylor and others.
GRASP
GRASP is an event for young people aged 14+ which runs once a term at St Barnabas Church (off Venns Lane) in Hereford.
We have a live band, interviews, bookstall, multimedia a guest speaker and more. It’s a great place to meet other young people who are Christians or who are interested in finding out about Christianity, have fun and learn together what God has to say to us today in the Bible. Young people come from a wide area and a range of different churches.
Our next event is called ‘Representing your Country’ and will be held on Sunday 21st November 7-9pm. Check out our facebook page to keep up to date with all the latest or contact Andy Clark (Hereford City Youth Missioner) 07590617738 to find out more.
