A short reflective worship with the opportunity to pray for the week ahead.

This is followed at 12noon, for those who wish to stay for a cup of coffee, by a forum to discuss any topic suggested by the participants – we call it Life, the Universe and Anything!”

Prayers, bible readings and quiet

Friday 2.30pm (St Giles’ Chapel or Brierley Court Community Room)
A mixture of worship styles, including Holy Communion, with time for fellowship and reflection. Each month the services are as follows (with some exceptions for special occasions):

  • 1st Friday Holy Communion in St Giles;
  • 2nd Friday Evening Worship in St Giles
  • 3rd Friday Songs of Praise in Brierley Court;
  • 4th Friday Evening Worship in St Giles
  • 5th Friday Evening Worship in St Giles.

St Giles’ Chapel is a delightful gem, on St Owen’s Street, and was built to replace the original Knights Templar chapel on the site. Brierley Court is the sheltered housing project on the same site.
