FLAVOURS OF HEREFORD WEEKEND
Dates for this are 23rd-24th October, at Hereford racecourse. Hope for Herefordshire have played a key role at this event over the past few years. Tea and coffee has been served free to stall holders marooned at their stalls during the busiest period of the day and entertainments have been laid on for both adults and children in a marquee put up and manned by volunteers from across the churches. Last year Holmer Parish Church put on a short service on the Sunday for the benefit of those attending. This event is for the promotion of local businesses throughout the county, not just the city, and the Hope team would love to see support from Christians from around the county to help offer love and free service to the stallholders and visitors to the Racecourse.
Help is needed in putting up/taking down the marquee and serving tea and coffee etc. If you are available and think you can offer help, please contact Mark Price at Hope City Church, email mprice@hopecitychurch.org.uk
